The Jackson County Fair Board members understand your concerns about the current Jackson County Fair.  We knew we would have challenges this Fall.  Midway options were very limited.  Looking forward, you can be assured that we will be working very hard to make the 2026 Spring Carnival and Fall County Fair a place for enjoyment for all families.  We appreciate your support and the support of our exhibitors, commercial vendors and other Fair participants.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to a member of the Fair Board through the contact link below.

Welcome to Jackson County Veterans Fairgrounds

The Jackson County Fair Association (JCFA) was incorporated in 1949 to sponsor and host a Spring Carnival and Fall Agricultural Fair each year.  JCFA consists entirely of members of local American Legion Post 30 and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6073 and their respective Auxiliaries.  All work is volunteer.  The net-proceeds of the two events provide funding to American Legion Post 30, VFW Post 6073 and their respective Auxiliaries to support community programs and education for our children such as agricultural contest awards, farm animal contest awards, exhibit payouts, Veterans Helping Veterans (VHV) wheelchair ramps for Veterans in need, short-term assistance to homeless Veterans and Veterans in need, providing transportation to Veterans for VA appointments and scholarships to city and county high school students.  Net-proceeds also fund facilities operations.

What time do the Admission Gates open?

 

 

Admission gates opening time vary by event.  Check out the specific event tab to see Admission Gate opening times.

How much does it cost to get in?

Admission is $5 CASH for ages 6 and up at Gates 4 - 6.  Electronic payments are accepted at Gate 7 ONLY and include the current processing fee charged by the credit card processing company. 

FREE Admission for Ages 5 and under

FREE Admission for anyone who served in the military 

FREE Admission for first responders in uniform 

FREE Admission for wheelchair-bound handicapped and one companion

Does the admission price include games & rides?

 

 

No.  Admission charge is only to allow entry onto the Fairgrounds.  Individual tickets for rides and games, and unlimited ride handstamp can be purchased from amusement vendor.

Can I bring my pet with me?

 

 

No.  Pets are not allowed on the Fairgrounds.  Only service animals recognized by the ADA are allowed.  

What if I lose something while attending an event?

 

 

Lost and Found is located at the First Aid Station.  You may also provide your contact information and description of the item lost to a member of JCFA who will be wearing logo'd blue vests.  If your item is turned in or found you will be contacted as soon as possible.
